Kraken Bitcoin Sweepstakes — OFFICIAL RULES
BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE KRAKEN.COM TERMS OF SERVICE, WHICH EACH FORM A CONTRACT. READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR FUNDING NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE OR WIN.
1. Sponsor (“Kraken”)
This Promotion (“Promotion”) is sponsored by Payward, Inc., 1209 Orange St., Wilmington, DE 19801 (“Kraken” or “Sponsor”).
2. Eligible Areas
The Promotion is open to eligible Kraken customers residing in jurisdictions where Kraken operates, excluding the United Kingdom, Australia, and any other location where trading incentives are restricted or prohibited by law.
3. Promotion Period
The Promotion begins on March 11, 2026 at 14:00 UTC and ends on April 13, 2026 at 13:59 UTC (“Promotion Period”). Entries submitted outside the Promotion Period will not qualify.
4. How to Participate
Eligible participants may enter the Promotion in either of the following ways:
(A) Trade-Based Entry: To participate, clients must first download the latest version of the Kraken or Kraken Pro app and enrol into the incentive by tapping the 'Enroll now' button for this incentive on either the Offers screen of the Kraken app or the Promotions screen of the Kraken Pro app.
Participants will receive one (1) entry for every $1 USD (or equivalent amount in another currency) of trading volume executed during the Promotion Period across Spot, Margin, or PTL products on a Kraken account. Trading means Buying, Selling, or Converting and excludes trading Derivatives and Bundles as well as trades between fiat and stablecoins, or within stablecoins. This also excludes stock, and ETF trades for US users as well as xStocks trades for users in other regions, where available. Maximum of 1,000,000 entries per participant.
(B) To enter for free without trading, follow the instructions here: https://swpp.me/a/btcsweeps26. All entries received via Sweepea will be treated with equal dignity to trade-based entries. 10 entries will be awarded for a successful Sweeppea submission.
5. Determination of Winners
This is a sweepstakes promotion. Winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. No action or response is required from the winner to claim the prize.
In the event that a winner’s account is closed, suspended, or otherwise ineligible at the time of crediting, the prize may be forfeited and Kraken may, in its sole discretion, conduct an alternate drawing from remaining eligible entries.
For Canadian residents only: After being confirmed as a winner, the selected participant must correctly answer, without assistance and within a limited time, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by Kraken.
6. Prizes
A total of 106 prizes will be awarded as follows:
Grand Prize (1 winner): 1 Bitcoin (BTC). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $69,575.95 as of March 11, 2026, subject to market fluctuation.
Second Prize (5 winners): $10,000 USD worth of BTC each. ARV: $10,000 per winner.
Third Prize (100 winners): $100 USD worth of BTC each. ARV: $100 per winner.
Total ARV depends on BTC market value at time of award. Prizes will be delivered in BTC at the USD/BTC rate at time of issuance. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged except at Kraken’s sole discretion for a prize of equal or greater value. Limit one prize per participant.
7. Eligibility to Participate in the Promotion
You are eligible to participate in the Promotion if, at the time of entry and during the Promotion, you:
Reside in the Eligible Areas identified above;
Hold a Kraken account in good standing;
Agree to the Kraken.com Terms of Service;
Agree to these Rules and meet and comply with any and all applicable requirements herein;
Are not a Kraken Related Party (as defined below);
Are not otherwise ineligible to participate under the Kraken.com Terms of Service, these Rules, or applicable law.
You are not eligible to participate in the Promotion if you are (A) a Kraken employee, officer, director, manager, agent, consultant, or representative; (B) a family member or live with any of the foregoing; (C) a Kraken corporate partner, division, subsidiary, affiliate, successor in interest; (D) an advertising, promotion, or public relations agency of any of the foregoing (each a “Kraken Related Party”). For the purposes of the Promotion, family members are defined as spouse, mother, father, legal guardian, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children, and grandchildren (including “step” as they may apply).
By submitting your entry to the Promotion, you represent and warrant that you meet, and will continue to meet throughout the Promotion Period, each of the above criteria and are eligible to participate in the Promotion.
8. Disqualification
Kraken reserves the right to disqualify you if Kraken determines, in its sole discretion, that you have (A) violated these Rules, the Kraken.com Terms of Service or applicable law; (B) engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or manipulative conduct; or (C) attempted to circumvent entry limits or create multiple accounts.
9. Consents and Approvals
By entering the Promotion, you agree that any content and any other information submitted by you or collected by Kraken in connection with the Promotion may be used by Kraken, including their affiliated business entities. Further, you consent to and opt-in to any communications, including marketing communications, from Kraken. You give consent for Kraken and its agents to obtain and deliver your name, address and other information to third parties for the purpose of administering this Promotion and complying with applicable laws, regulations, and rules. YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IF YOU ARE A WINNER, YOUR IDENTIFYING INFORMATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS, MAY BE DISCLOSED TO THIRD PARTIES TO FACILITATE THE PROMOTION AND COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE LAW, TAX, AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS. Except as otherwise contemplated in these Rules, Kraken will use personal information collected in connection with the Promotion in accordance with its online privacy policy located at .
10. Disclaimers
Kraken is not responsible for any changes or unavailability of your internet or any other interference with your ability to access or otherwise participate in the Promotion, including your ability to timely enter, receive notices, or communicate with Kraken. Without limiting any other provision in these Rules, Kraken and Kraken Related Parties are not responsible or liable for any damage or loss by reason of any acts of God, equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, epidemic, explosion, unusually severe weather, embargo, labor dispute, transportation interruption of any kind, civil disturbance, or any governmental, federal, state or local government authority action, or any other cause, whether or not specifically mentioned above.
11. Limitation of Liability, Disputes, and Governing Law
11(a). U.S. Residents (excluding New York, Florida, and Maine)
For participants who reside in the United States (excluding NY, FL, and ME), these Official Rules and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Promotion (“Dispute”) are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any Dispute will be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and the Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”). Arbitration may be conducted by video conference, by telephone, based on written submissions, or in person in the county of the participant’s residence or in San Francisco, California. Class or representative actions are not permitted. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Kraken may seek equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
11(b). Participants Residing Outside the United States
For participants who reside outside the United States, any dispute arising from or relating to this Promotion shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and resolved by confidential binding arbitration in London, England, under the LCIA Rules. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Kraken may seek equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
12. Taxes
Participants are solely responsible for any taxes arising from receipt of a prize.
13. General Rules
Kraken reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time for reasons including fraud, technical issues, or legal requirements. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Marketing for this Promotion is not directed at residents of jurisdictions where this Promotion is void.
