About Harmony
Harmony is a blockchain-based platform that provides tools for designing, hosting and managing decentralized applications (dApps). It is an Ethereum-based Layer 1 protocol that uses sharding and effective-proof-of-stake (EPoS) to enable the security, efficiency and scalability of dApps. ONE is the native token of the Harmony protocol used to participate in the platform’s open governance mechanism, pay for transaction fees and to stake as a validator or delegator in order to earn block rewards.
