BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE TERMS OF SERVICE, WHICH EACH FORM A CONTRACT. READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. NO ELEMENT OF CHANCE IS INVOLVED. EACH ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANT WHO COMPLETES THE QUALIFYING ACTIVITY WILL RECEIVE THE REWARD.
1. Sponsor
This promotion (“Promotion”) is sponsored by Payward, Inc., known as Kraken (“Sponsor” or “Kraken”).
2. Eligible Areas
Open to eligible Kraken customers who receive communications inviting them to opt in to this promotion. Not available in certain jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom and anywhere prohibited by law.
Void where prohibited.
3. Promotion Period
The Promotion begins on December 31, 2025 at 00:01 UTC and ends on January 31, 2026 at 23:59 UTC. Kraken reserves the right to modify, suspend, or end the Promotion at any time.
4. How to Participate
To qualify for the Promotion, you must:
A. Create a new Kraken Consumer account during the Promotion Period;
B. Complete Tier 3 (T3) KYC verification; and
C. During the Promotion Period, complete spot crypto trades totaling at least US$50 / €50 / CA$50 (based on your selected account currency) using the Kraken app.
Limit: One (1) Reward per participant.
5. Reward
Each eligible participant will receive a reward of Bitcoin (BTC) equivalent to US $25 (for participants whose Kraken account is denominated in USD), € 25 (for accounts denominated in EUR), or CA $25 (for accounts denominated in CAD), credited to their Kraken account within 30 days of confirmation of qualification.
Kraken may substitute a reward of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.
6. Eligibility to Participate
You are eligible if, at the time of entry and during the Promotion, you:
(i) receive communication inviting you to opt in to the Promotion;
(ii) have created and verified a new Kraken Consumer account to Tier 3 (T3) and have not previously traded on Kraken;
(iii) agree to the Kraken.com Terms of Service; and
(iv) are not otherwise ineligible under applicable law.
By participating, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility criteria.
7. Disqualification
Kraken may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any participant who violates these Rules or the Kraken.com Terms of Service; provides false or misleading information; engages in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior; or attempts to circumvent limits by creating multiple accounts or otherwise manipulating the Promotion.
8. Notification / Issuance
Rewards will be automatically credited to eligible accounts within 30 days of qualification. If a participant’s account is closed, suspended, or ineligible at the time of distribution, Kraken may withhold or cancel the Reward. Kraken may request additional information or documentation prior to crediting the Reward.
9. Consents and Approvals; Privacy
By entering, you consent to Kraken’s processing of your personal data in line with Kraken’s Privacy Notice available at .
10. Disclaimers
Kraken is not responsible for internet/service changes or unavailability, or other interference that affects participation; nor for force-majeure events including natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemics, government actions, labor disputes, transportation interruptions, or similar causes.
11. Limitation of Liability; Disputes; Governing Law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Kraken and Kraken Related Parties from any claims arising from participation or any Reward.
Any dispute will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and determined by confidential binding arbitration in London, England under the LCIA rules.
Class or representative actions are waived to the extent permitted, and recovery (if any) is limited to actual out-of-pocket costs up to the value of the Reward. Attorneys’ fees are excluded (where permitted). Kraken may seek equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
12. Taxes
Participants are solely responsible for any taxes or duties arising from the Reward. Kraken does not provide tax advice.
13. General Rules
Kraken may modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion at any time. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder stays in effect. In case of conflict between these Rules and marketing materials, these Rules control.
