BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE KRAKEN.COM TERMS OF SERVICE, WHICH EACH FORM A CONTRACT. READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR FUNDING NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE OR WIN. PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR FUNDING WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF RECEIVING A REWARD.

1. Sponsor

This promotion (“Promotion”) is sponsored by Payward, Inc., known as Kraken (“Sponsor” or “Kraken”).

2. Eligible Areas

The Promotion is open to eligible customers who are legal residents of the European Economic Area (EEA), excluding jurisdictions where trading incentives are restricted by law (including the United Kingdom).

3. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins on December 29, 2025 and ends on January 31, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”). Kraken reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time in its sole discretion.

4. How to Participate

To qualify for the Promotion, you must during the Promotion Period:

  1. You must be on the Kraken or Kraken Pro mobile app, and select the 'Opt in' button before making any deposits or trades.
  2. Hold a verified Kraken account at Tier 3 (Intermediate KYC) level;
  3. Deposit at least €3,000 in crypto assets into your Kraken account;
  4. Trade at least €3,000 within the Promotion Period. Buying, selling, or converting on Instant, Spot, or Margin count as trades. Trades between fiat and stablecoins, or within stablecoins, do not count. Trades of Stocks or Tokenized Stocks do not count.

Each eligible participant who completes the above requirements will receive one (1) Reward as defined below. Limit: one (1) Reward per participant.

5. Reward

Each eligible participant will receive a Reward of Bitcoin (BTC) equivalent to €50 in value (Approximate Retail Value: €50), credited to their Kraken account within 30 days after confirmation of compliance with these Terms.

A withdrawal hold is placed on the €50 in BTC amount for 45 days from receiving the reward - this means that you cannot withdraw this reward for 45 days after receiving it.

6. Eligibility to Participate

You are eligible to participate in the Promotion if, at the time of entry and during the Promotion:

  • You reside in an Eligible Area listed above;
  • You have verified your Kraken account to Tier 3 (Intermediate) level; and
  • You agree to the Kraken.com Terms of Service and these Rules.

Institutional accounts and business entities are not eligible.

7. Disqualification

Kraken reserves the right to disqualify any participant if Kraken determines, in its sole discretion, that the participant has:

  • Violated these Rules or the Kraken.com Terms of Service;
  • Provided false or misleading information;
  • Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior; or
  • Attempted to manipulate or game the Promotion.

8. Notification of Reward

Rewards will be credited directly to eligible Kraken accounts within 30 days of verification of qualifying activity.
If an account is closed, suspended, or restricted at the time of reward distribution, Kraken may withhold or cancel the Reward.

9. Consents and Approvals

By participating, you consent to the collection and use of your information by Kraken for the purposes of administering this Promotion and complying with applicable laws and regulations. You also consent to receive communications from Kraken, including marketing communications, in accordance with its Privacy Notice available at: https://kraken.com/legal/privacy

If you are a Reward recipient, your identifying information may be disclosed to third parties as required by law for tax or regulatory purposes.

10. Disclaimers

Kraken is not responsible for any technical malfunction, internet outage, or other event that interferes with participation.
Without limiting the foregoing, Kraken and its affiliates are not responsible for delays, losses, or damages resulting from events beyond their control including natural disasters, acts of God, war, labor disputes, or governmental restrictions.

11. Limitation of Liability, Disputes, and Governing Law

By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Kraken and its affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or losses arising from participation or receipt of the Reward.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Any disputes or claims arising from this Promotion will be resolved individually and not as part of a class action;
  • Recovery is limited to actual, out-of-pocket costs (not exceeding €25); and
  • No punitive, incidental, consequential, or special damages shall be recoverable.

This Promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be resolved by confidential binding arbitration in London, England under LCIA Rules. Kraken may seek equitable relief in any competent court.

12. Tax Responsibility

Participants are solely responsible for any taxes or duties arising from receipt of the Reward. Kraken will not provide tax advice.

13. General Rules

Kraken may modify or cancel the Promotion at any time. Failure to enforce any term shall not constitute a waiver. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder shall remain enforceable.
