Open to eligible customers residing in Argentina, Canada, the EEA, the United States, and other jurisdictions where Kraken operates and this Promotion is permitted by law. Excluded: the United Kingdom, Australia states NSW, SA, ACT, NT and any other restricted or unsupported jurisdiction. Void where prohibited.
Promotion Period
Campaign Launch: 22 January 2026
Trading Period (performance window): 22 January through 15 February 2026 (all dates inclusive, local UTC).
Winner Announcement: 16 February 2026.
How to Participate / Performance Criteria
5.1 You must: (a) hold a Kraken Consumer or Kraken Pro account in good standing; (b) complete L3 identity verification; and (c) trade eligible meme coin spot pairs on Kraken during the Trading Period.
5.2 Determination of Performance: For each eligible meme coin, Kraken will calculate total notional spot trading volume (buys + sells) across all eligible participants during the Trading Period. The meme coin with the highest aggregate trading volume will be declared the Winning Token.
5.3 Limitations / Exclusions: Futures, margin, staking, stablecoin-to-stablecoin conversions, off-platform transfers, and any non-spot activity do not count. Kraken may exclude any transaction type or instrument if required by law, regulation, platform risk, or integrity concerns.
Prize / Reward
The Winning Token’s logo (subject to rights clearance) will be featured on the Atlético Madrid shirt sleeve for the Barcelona match dated 5 April, in place of the Kraken logo. No cash or crypto is awarded to participants. Prize has no retail value to participants and is non-transferable. Kraken may substitute or modify presentation details of equal or greater promotional value if circumstances require.
Eligibility
Participants must meet age-of-majority requirements in their jurisdiction and agree to the Kraken.com Terms of Service and these Rules. Accounts must remain active and in good standing throughout the Promotion.
Disqualification; Integrity & Anti-Manipulation
Kraken may disqualify any participant or exclude volumes in its sole discretion for: wash trading, self-dealing between linked accounts, botting or automation, spoofing/layering, volume manipulation, use of VPN to circumvent geo controls, false or misleading information, multiple account registrations, or any fraudulent/abusive conduct; violations of law, these Rules, or Kraken’s Terms of Service. Kraken’s determinations are final.
Winner Selection & Notification
This is a Contest: the Winning Token is selected solely by the objective performance metric above; no random draw. Kraken will announce the Winning Token on or about 16 February. No participant notifications or payments will be issued. Kraken may request information from token project representatives solely to complete rights clearance.
Third-Party Rights; Approvals; No Endorsement
Featuring any token logo on club kit is subject to (i) Kraken securing appropriate IP license/authorization from the token project owner(s) and (ii) Atlético Madrid and LaLiga approvals and brand guidelines. If approvals/rights cannot be obtained or are withdrawn, Kraken may modify, defer, or cancel the presentation without liability. Atlético Madrid and LaLiga are not sponsors of and do not endorse this Promotion.
Consents; Privacy

Disclaimers; Force Majeure
Kraken is not responsible for internet/service interruptions or events beyond its control (acts of God, technical failures, regulatory changes, market disruptions, etc.). Kraken may cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if integrity or feasibility is impaired.
Limitation of Liability, Disputes, and Governing Law
13.1 Release and Hold Harmless:
By participating in the Promotion, you release and hold harmless Kraken, its affiliates, and their respective officers, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Promotion Related Parties”) from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your participation in the Promotion or the use or acceptance of any prize.
13.2 Limits on Liability: To the extent permitted by law: (a) all disputes and claims must be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class or representative action; (b) recovery is limited to actual, third-party, out-of-pocket costs, not to exceed twenty-five dollars ($25.00) in total; and (c) attorneys’ fees, punitive, incidental, consequential, or special damages are excluded. Your sole remedy is monetary damages, and you waive any right to seek injunctive or equitable relief.
13.3 Governing Law and Arbitration: This Promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute or claim arising from or related to the Promotion shall be resolved exclusively and confidentially by binding arbitration in London, England, under the LCIA Rules. Judgment on any award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
13.4 Equitable Relief: Notwithstanding Section 13.3, Kraken may seek equitable or injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or enforce confidentiality obligations.
13.5 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Taxes
Participants are responsible for any taxes arising from their own trading activity. No participant receives a monetary prize in this Promotion.
General Rules
Kraken may modify these Rules prospectively; Kraken’s decisions are final; one account per person; conflicts between marketing and these Rules are resolved in favor of these Rules; void where prohibited.
